Lutes and Sleep 


Fred battles insomnia, then decides to take advantage of it 

I couldn't sleep because there were things on my mind, so I got up and wrote a scene about characters who couldn't sleep because there were things on their minds. How...creative. <yawn>

Now that I've been up for two hours, it's safe to say I'm probably tired enough to fall asleep again.

Also, I did some research on lutes. Did you know there are several styles of lutes, because the instrument evolved so much? You did? Why didn't you tell me? :(

Anyway...now I have a bunch of information, like it's hard to (impossible to) tune a lute, and that it's a very very quiet instrument.

Perhaps I should be re-examining my pillow now.
